A quick break: the origins of the English dictionary

Recently, I’ve been time poor – working on a host of projects and juggling many other life-based tasks – as a result, the content here has been a little sparse.

Before long, I will be publishing new blog pieces on a regular basis. There is also a website renovation in the crosshairs, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, as a light-hearted, word related distraction from your working day, here’s an amusing and ever so slightly insightful short video on the origins of the English dictionary from the Open University – enjoy.

Indeed, what a load of old snuffbumble! I hope you enjoyed this brief interlude and keep our eyes peeled for exciting new content and a new-look website in the coming months.
